LONGER HAIR
DESERVES A BARBER
WHO KNOWS IT.

Long, straight, wavy — we work with your texture, not against it.

Most barbers are trained to cut short. When you walk in with length — whether it's grown-out waves, straight hair that won't behave, or a style you've been trying to nail for months — you need someone who actually knows what to do with it. At Kingdom Barber Studio in Bryan, TX, the consultation comes first so your cut works with your hair, not despite it.

LENGTH ISN'T THE PROBLEM.
THE WRONG BARBER IS.

01

Length-Aware Cutting

Long hair has weight, movement, and a life of its own. We cut with the end result in mind — considering how your hair falls naturally, where bulk needs to be removed, and how the style will grow out so it stays intentional between visits.

02

Texture-Specific Technique

Straight, wavy, and longer curly hair each behave differently and each require a different approach. We don't apply the same cut to every head. Your texture is part of the plan from the first conversation.

03

The Grow-Out Game Plan

Growing your hair out is a process, and the awkward phases don't have to be as rough as they look. We'll talk through maintenance cuts that keep you looking clean while you gain length — so you get where you're going without losing your mind on the way.

"He not only talked with me about what I wanted throughout the experience, but educated me about what he was doing and about my hair. Very different from the usual experience." — Ethan G., Google Review

LONG, STRAIGHT, WAVY —
WHAT WORKS FOR YOUR TYPE.

The right approach depends on your texture. Here's how we think about each one — and how to use the quiz to dial in your specific style.

Long Hair

Long hairstyles for men work best when the weight is managed intentionally. Too much bulk and it looks heavy and shapeless. Too little and it loses structure. Styles like the man bun, flow, slick back, and curtains all require the same thing: a barber who understands how length behaves and shapes it accordingly.

Straight Hair

Straight haircuts for men are less forgiving than any other texture — every line shows, and weight distribution matters more. The right straight hairstyle creates movement without relying on curl or wave to do the work. We know how to shape straight hair so it has life without product doing all the heavy lifting.

Wavy Hair

Wavy haircuts need to work with the natural S-pattern, not flatten it. The challenge is removing bulk without killing the wave, and cutting at the right length so the wave activates instead of turning into frizz. Men with wavy hair often do better with dry cutting or a blended approach — something we work into the consultation.

Not Sure Where You Land?

Face shape, texture, and lifestyle all factor into what actually looks good on you. Our hair style quiz walks through each one and points you toward cuts that work — so you come in with a direction and leave with exactly what you wanted.

THE GROW-OUT DOESN'T
HAVE TO BE ROUGH.

Growing your hair out is one of the most common reasons men come in asking for advice — and one of the least talked-about services at most barber shops. We approach it differently.

Regular maintenance cuts every 6–8 weeks keep the shape clean while you gain length. We remove bulk where it makes the grow-out look awkward, clean up the neckline so it stays intentional, and talk through products and routines that help the process. You don't have to white-knuckle through it.

01

Assess Where You Are

We look at your current length, texture, and where you want to end up. That gap determines the plan.

02

Maintenance Cuts, Not Big Cuts

Small, intentional trims that preserve length while keeping the shape from going sideways.

03

Handle the Awkward Phases

Every grow-out has them. We'll tell you when to push through and when a small adjustment will make a big difference.

04

Arrive at the Style You Actually Want

With the right guidance, you get there looking intentional the whole way — not like you just forgot to get a haircut.
